The Bohemian Region
Bohemia, an ancient land from even before the Middle Ages...isn't that's the time when a knight rescued a beautiful damsel in distress? ~.~
I guess when people say Bohemia is home to romance, they must be inspired by its beautiful highland with enclosing mountain ranges, soft flowing rivers, castles, riverside pathways, bridges, and all the right ingredients for a fairy tale...Dreamy setting, depressing history..that's where the charms of Bohemia are, because only until it became part of the Czech Republic today, Bohemia had only been under other empires: Roman, Austrian, the Nazi’s Reich, and then communism, and that caused many generations to suffer fights for political autonomy, economic injustice, exiles, and persecution. Bohemia could be an embittered fairyland..but that's just my random thought.
Prague
It took us quite a few hours to get to Prague, but through very lovely countryside. Once arrived, we figured it’s better to leave our car at the hotel parking, and instead took an underground to Staré Město (Czech for ‘Old Town’). Turns out it’s a great way to see how Praguers go about their usual lives.
In one afternoon and another morning, we walked around the Old Town, lingered on Charles Bridge, admired the beautiful Vltava River, and took the Prague Castle Walking Tour. Also, I got some crystal beads from the Lesser Quarter for my next bead project^^
As with other old cities, Prague has a mysterious vibe to it. Perhaps it’s in the countless legends that belong to the city, or partly it’s in the Prague Castle. Archaeologists unearthed tombs scattered around the castle that reveal a strange burial ritual. Plus, this medieval castle was built over an even older castle, under which is evidence of a pre-historic settlement. Literally, this place has lived throughout the ages!
České Budějovice
České Budějovice is a small town to the south very close to České Krumlov. With the help of p dew’s friend at the embassy, we got a reservation at a lovely pension called Hotel Bohemia. Right cross the narrow cobbled street in front of Hotel Bohemia is its small restaurant with one chef and another waiter working together to serve us the traditional Czech food and drink…The dinner was great and the beer was even better! Budejovice or "Budvar" is where Budweiser derives its name…and that genuinely explains everything ;)
České Krumlov
After a big delicious breakfast at Hotel Bohemia, we left for České Krumlov, which is only half an hour drive away southward. This lovely historic town is set on the sharp bends of the meandering peaceful Vltava. Unbelievably, this very very small UNESCO world heritage site draws millions of tourists each year. I imagine the place must have been really beautiful hundreds of years ago without any modification to the landscape when the river ran naturally. But now there actually are many lovely corners, shops, bridges, and all.

Springtime in Vienna
Big smile!
i just went out for a cup of melange and tiramisu and kardinalschnitte at aida..so guess what! i look out and see that it's spring in Vienna :D
I'm here! Hier für einen schönen Urlaub! Perhaps my heart should be singing 'so somewhere in my youth or childhood..i must have done something good'...(from the Sound of Music, remember?)
Meanwhile, people can reschedule and re-reschedule the 'trip in question' as many more times as wish. That said, i insist i keep my duties close at heart. (though vacation could be a bit closer)
(For any record, my job responsibility, whatever it is, still remains fully intacted! i'm serious! Very serious!)

It's been raining almost every day, but i love the blooming flowers and the fragrant air, which i have been missing since my IU time. Bloomington must be so beautiful now as well...
Eastern Europe
The last family trip we had was very long ago, since October 2006 to Oberammergau. Now that a few of EU's eastern members have recently become Schengen countries, we decided to hit the road again and travelled to Austria’s neighbors: Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic
Once General W. and GPS joined forces, no place could ever escape us^^(please..I don't mean an underground war room!)
On the way to these destinations in small villages, I saw some kind of a big round tree with thick white blossoms, and it entered my mind that if I had one at home, I would definitely tie a hammock under so that I could doze off under its falling soft petals.....but that's just my incurable romanticism talking!
Safety in Vienna/Bangkok?
Vienna was a relatively safe city for both its residents and tourists. At least, that’s what I’ve heard people say. Considering the world’s standard, shops being closed on Sundays could imply that the economy is quite secure and people can afford quite a comfortable life, and that whatever surplus is not really necessary. But this time around, I can see lots of homeless people and beggars on the streets in Vienna that I didn’t last year, well ok, maybe I did one or two. Also now, according to the police, more crimes especially those on robbery and burglary have been reported.
...so what has broken loose?!
Could that be because the Schengen area has combined more population? Just at the end of last year, nine new countries were included into Europe's passport-free zone.
But could that be relevant?
If it is, then I hope the same doesn’t happen to Thailand once the GMS’s economic integration is in its full swing. Personally, I’m not really in favor of any greed-driven economic development scheme. At the end of the day, when all opportunities are irreversibly depleted,...............(whooa, I'd rather stop there! Some kind of a hangover from work!)
Constant Love Affair
Now that it's already my fourth time to Vienna, I think I can confidently conclude on 3 local things that I love the most: Aida Konditorei, the one overlooking the Votive Kirche and Sigmund Freud Garden, for the atmosphere, the the bombe, schnitte, and ice-cream; Oberlaa Konditorei for all the confectionery; and Kaiser Melange coffee beans from Julius Meinl...I never missed them at any visits. There lies my true love!

dour n sour n also bitter is probably how one normally looks when she finds out her holiday has to be canceled!
The schengen visa is duely granted, pick up date appointed, trip nicely formed itself in my vision...it's just one week away for me to go to austria AND the trip to laos has to be postponed, meaning i have to be here getting stuff reprepared.
it's just so downright surreal, like a workplace felony committed in broad daylight.
i breathed in, breathed out, and i...i cracked! ซึม ขรึม รั่ว...

Mademoiselle Estella in Paris
ต้องขอขอบคุณ Ramie จาก Ratatouille เจ้าของคำพูด ‘what better place to dream than in Paris’ ที่ทำให้เราอยากไปปารีสขึ้นมาบ้างหลังจากที่พี่ดิวชวนตั้งนานแล้ว...ปารีสต้องไม่ธรรมดาเพราะปารีสคือเมืองแห่งความฝัน (ของศิลปิน..อย่างเช่นเรมี่!)
สิ่งที่เห็นเสมอจนรู้สึกว่าเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของเมืองนี้คือ คนช่างแต่งตัว มอเตอร์ไบค์คันใหญ่ ร้านกาแฟแทบทุกblock และรสนิยมของคนที่นี่ รสนิยมซึ่งไม่ได้หมายถึงอะไรหรูๆแพงๆ แต่หมายถึงสิ่งเล็กๆน้อยๆที่ประกอบขึ้นแล้วทำให้ชีวิตเรามีความสุนทรีย์ เช่นอะไรอร่อยๆ สวยๆ หอมๆ เก๋าๆ เพราะๆ ของแบบนี้จะมีอยู่เกลื่อนกลาดที่ปารีส แค่ขอทานใน metro เล่น Albinoni's Adagio ก็ยังเพราะจนเราต้องหยุดเดินแล้วยังพูดพร้อมกันว่า ‘เพราะจัง’
La Cristal Room Baccarat
ชีวิตไม่เคยสัมผัส Baccarat จนกระทั่งพี่แดนนี่ไปรับที่สนามบิน แล้วบอกว่า “พรุ่งนี้เราจะได้ไป dinner ที่ Baccarat กันนะคะทุกคน พิเศษมาก ด้วย connection ของพี่เอง คนละ €€€€€ เองนะเคอะ” (บัคคาร่ง บัคคาร่าอะไรคะเนี่ย ทำไมแพงอย่างงี้ หนูจะกิน baguette อยู่ที่โรงแรมก็ได้)
สรุปว่า Baccarat ก็เป็นร้านเครื่องแก้วที่ prestigious มากของฝรั่งเศสที่มีมานานกว่า 200 ปีแล้ว ผลิตเครื่องแก้วสำหรับใช้บนโต๊ะอาหาร chandelier ขวดน้ำหอม แจกัน ฯลฯ Baccarat ผลิตให้ราชสำนักฝรั่งเศส และในยุโรป และราชสำนักทั่วโลกมาจนถึงปัจจุบันนี้
ในปารีสมีแมนชั่นเก่าแก่แห่งหนึ่งตรง des Etats-Unis ที่นี่ล่ะที่เป็น showroom และ gallery แสดงงาน crystal ชิ้นพิเศษจริงๆ ของ Baccarat เรียกว่า Musée Baccarat
และไม่นานมานี้ Musée Baccarat ก็เพิ่งจะเปิดร้านอาหารระดับ Michelin-rated ชื่อว่า La Cristal Room ซึ่งมี waiting list ตลอดเวลา อาหารอร่อยเสิร์ฟโดยใช้เครื่องแก้วของ Baccarat แต่สิ่งที่ทำให้ที่นี่พิเศษมากๆก็คงจะเป็นการตกแต่งของ Philipe Starck ที่เคยออกแบบคอลเลคชั่นคริสตัลสีดำล้วนเอาไว้ให้ Baccarat มาแล้ว
วันนั้นทุกคนได้ของขวัญพิเศษที่ Baccarat วางไว้ให้บนโต๊ะ เป็นที่ทับกระดาษรูปหัวใจ ทานอาหารเสร็จก็เดินชม gallery ต่ออีก
ช่างเป็นมื้อค่ำที่สวยงามประทับใจ ยังมีต่อ...
Café du Trocadéro
เสร็จจาก Baccarat แล้ว Mademoiselle Estella ก็ยังติดสอยห้อยตามพี่ๆไปนั่งเล่นที่ Café du Trocadéro คาเฟ่นี้อยู่ตรงวงเวียนซึ่งมองออกไปจะเห็น Eiffel ที่อยู่ไม่ไกล
ช่วงนี้ Eiffel จะจุดไฟกระพริบวิบวับทุกต้นชั่วโมง พี่แดนนี่ขอว่าน้องดาวโปรดอย่ากรี๊ดเวลาไฟกระพริบ (เหมือนตอนที่พี่ขับรถผ่าน Louvre กับ Eiffel เมื่อวันแรก*) ดาวรับปากรับคำ แต่พอต้นชั่วโมงไฟเริ่มกระพริบขึ้นมาจริงๆ น้องดาวสุดเสล่อก็ ว๊าวๆๆ (ลืมค่ะ ขอโทษค่ะ แต่ขอบอกว่าปาริเซียงเองที่นั่งอยู่โต๊ะข้างๆเค้าเริ่มก่อนนะคะ)
และจากนั้นพี่แดนนี่ก็พาไป Buddha Bar ตามคำขอ อยากจะไปผับต้นตำรับ cd
ที่ก๊อปขายกันแถวสีลม แต่พอไปแล้วรู้สึกว่า..ผับบ้าอะไรไม่รู้เอาพระพุทธรูปมาตั้งอย่างนั้น
* พี่คงกลุ้มใจมาก เพราะตอนนั้นนั่งรถผ่าน Louvre ตอนกลางคืน ดูเหมือนในหนัง da vinci code เลย ดาวขอลงไป snapshot ทำให้พี่แดนนี่ต้องจอดรถในที่ห้ามจอดแป๊บนึง :-*-:

The history of mankind is collected here at Lourve, and Louvre itself is a masterpiece..อันนี้พูดเองจากใจจริง
เพราะ 4 ชั้นของ Louvre มีงานศิลปะอย่างเลิศแทบทุกประเภท จากแทบทุกยุคสมัย ใหญ่จนต้องกางแผนที่เดินชม แต่ถ้ามีเวลาแค่วันเดียวก็ต้องเลือกดูเฉพาะ collection ที่เราสนใจหรือไม่ก็ดูสิ่งที่เป็น highlight เช่น ภาพวาดโมนาลิซ่าที่ห้อง Italian Paintings รูปสลัก Cupid and Psyche ที่ห้อง Italian sculpture หรือไปชม Napoleon III Apartments ที่เป็นส่วนที่สวยที่สุดของพระราชวัง
ไป Louvre แล้วทำให้รู้สึกภูมิใจมนุษย์โลกของเรา ที่สามารถสร้างสิ่งสวยงามหลากหลายได้ไม่รู้จบจริงๆ ช่วยบันดาลโลกใบนี้ให้ซิวิไลซ์
จริงๆงานศิลปะระดับนี้คงต้องค่อยๆพินิจ แต่นี่เราดูปริมาณมาก ทำให้พอยิ่งอยู่นานเข้าก็ยิ่งเหมือนเราท่องไปใน time warp เดี๋ยวอียิปต์ เดี๋ยวโรมัน ทั้งศิลปะยุคกลางทั้งมุสลิมอีก อารยธรรมโลกของเรานี่ช่างยิ่งใหญ่ หลากหลาย ยาวนาน...
ก็เลย 'museumed out' อย่างแรง กลับกันเถอะ จะขออนุญาตกลับสู่ศตวรรษที่21ล่ะ
แล้ว sortie อยู่ที่ไหน จงปรากฏตรงหน้าพวกข้า..เอ้ยเราเถิด...โอ๊ยหาทางออกไม่เจอ!
Neverfull Quest
ก่อนอื่นต้องขอออกตัวเอี๊ยดสนั่น ว่าปกติก็ไม่ค่อยได้ใช้ของ brand แต่ว่า Neverfull ที่อยากได้ใบนี้น่ารักสุดๆ ลุยๆ ไว้ใช้เดินเล่นสบายๆวันเสาร์อาทิตย์ ใส่ของได้เยอะๆ...ไม่นึกเลยว่า Neverfull จะเป็นของหายากถึงขนาดนั้น
ที่ Champs Elysées มี shop ใหญ่ของ LV ที่นี่คนเยอะเพราะเป็นย่านนักท่องเที่ยว (ช่วงบ่ายเห็นคนเข้าแถวรอหน้าร้านกันยาวเชียว) ก็เลยไม่แปลกใจที่คนขายบอกว่าตอนนี้ที่ร้านไม่มี Neverfull MM เหลือแล้ว เค้าบอกด้วยว่าเป็นเพราะรุ่นนี้เพิ่งออกใหม่ บวกกับเพิ่งผ่านเทศกาลของขวัญมา เช็คดูแล้วยังมีอยู่ที่ Galeries Lafayette แต่ ‘it could be finished at any minute (shrug)!' และที่นั่นไม่รับจองเพราะนักท่องเที่ยวเยอะ..OK
กระเป๋านี้คงขายดีจริงๆ เพราะพอไปถึง Lafayette เข้าจริงเย็นนั้นก็ปรากฏว่าหมดแล้ว เราเริ่มคิดว่าไม่เอาแล้วก็ได้วะ แต่พี่คนขายที่ Lafayette ก็อุตส่าห์สืบให้ว่ายังมีอีก 2-3 ใบเหลืออยู่ที่ shop ตรง Saint Germain เพราะแถวนั้นไม่ค่อยมีนักท่องเที่ยว วาดแผนที่ให้เสร็จสรรพ และบอกว่าตรงนั้นมีโบสถ์เก่าสวยมากๆ ไปเที่ยวอย่างเดียวก็ยังได้
ผ่านไป 2 วันเราก็ลองไปจริงๆ ที่นั่นร้านไม่ใหญ่ก็จริง แต่กระเป๋าก็ยังหมดอยู่ดี เราบอกเลยว่าไม่เอาแล้วก็ได้ล่ะ สงสัยว่า Neverfull คงได้หมดไปจากปารีสแล้ว เหนื่อยจิง...แต่สงสัยว่าพี่ดิวนึกว่าตัวเองกำลังเล่นเกมล่าสมบัติอยู่ เลยยังไม่ยอมให้น้อง drop ประเด็นนี้ลงง่ายๆ
วันต่อมาพี่ดิวเลยชวนไปซื้อของแถว Avenue Montaigne เพราะพี่ดิวจำได้ว่ามี LV shop เล็กๆ ด้วย ไปถามก็ได้..แล้วก็หมดอีกตามคาด..แต่ว่าๆๆๆ.......พนักงานเช็คให้ว่าในปารีสมีเหลือ 2 ใบ อยู่ที่ Bon Marché ที่นี่ร้านเล็กและรับจอง ใบนึงมีคนจองไว้แล้ว เค้าจะโทรไปจองอีกใบให้...Oui!! ของพร้อม ไปรับได้เลย อู๊ย แทบกระโดดกอดคอคนขาย (oh! i'm so happy!)
ดังนั้น....Neverfull แสนน่ารักที่เห็นในเว็บใบนั้น ก็เลยได้มาเป็นของเราแล้วในวันนี้!!!
ปฏิบัติการตามล่าหา Neverfull MM ทำให้รู้ว่าใครอยากได้ของที่ขาดตลาดควรต้องไปเริ่มหาที่ shop เล็กๆก่อน ไปที่คน local เค้าไปกัน
สรุปว่าปารีสมี LV ทั้งหมด 5 ร้าน อยู่ตรงไหนรู้โหม๊ด...รู้ดีเพราะไปมาซะครบเลย

* พี่คงกลุ้มใจมาก เพราะตอนนั้นนั่งรถผ่าน Louvre ตอนกลางคืน ดูเหมือนในหนัง da vinci code เลย ดาวขอลงไป snapshot ทำให้พี่แดนนี่ต้องจอดรถในที่ห้ามจอดแป๊บนึง :-*-:

The history of mankind is collected here at Lourve, and Louvre itself is a masterpiece..อันนี้พูดเองจากใจจริง
เพราะ 4 ชั้นของ Louvre มีงานศิลปะอย่างเลิศแทบทุกประเภท จากแทบทุกยุคสมัย ใหญ่จนต้องกางแผนที่เดินชม แต่ถ้ามีเวลาแค่วันเดียวก็ต้องเลือกดูเฉพาะ collection ที่เราสนใจหรือไม่ก็ดูสิ่งที่เป็น highlight เช่น ภาพวาดโมนาลิซ่าที่ห้อง Italian Paintings รูปสลัก Cupid and Psyche ที่ห้อง Italian sculpture หรือไปชม Napoleon III Apartments ที่เป็นส่วนที่สวยที่สุดของพระราชวัง
ไป Louvre แล้วทำให้รู้สึกภูมิใจมนุษย์โลกของเรา ที่สามารถสร้างสิ่งสวยงามหลากหลายได้ไม่รู้จบจริงๆ ช่วยบันดาลโลกใบนี้ให้ซิวิไลซ์
จริงๆงานศิลปะระดับนี้คงต้องค่อยๆพินิจ แต่นี่เราดูปริมาณมาก ทำให้พอยิ่งอยู่นานเข้าก็ยิ่งเหมือนเราท่องไปใน time warp เดี๋ยวอียิปต์ เดี๋ยวโรมัน ทั้งศิลปะยุคกลางทั้งมุสลิมอีก อารยธรรมโลกของเรานี่ช่างยิ่งใหญ่ หลากหลาย ยาวนาน...
ก็เลย 'museumed out' อย่างแรง กลับกันเถอะ จะขออนุญาตกลับสู่ศตวรรษที่21ล่ะ
แล้ว sortie อยู่ที่ไหน จงปรากฏตรงหน้าพวกข้า..เอ้ยเราเถิด...โอ๊ยหาทางออกไม่เจอ!
Neverfull Quest
ก่อนอื่นต้องขอออกตัวเอี๊ยดสนั่น ว่าปกติก็ไม่ค่อยได้ใช้ของ brand แต่ว่า Neverfull ที่อยากได้ใบนี้น่ารักสุดๆ ลุยๆ ไว้ใช้เดินเล่นสบายๆวันเสาร์อาทิตย์ ใส่ของได้เยอะๆ...ไม่นึกเลยว่า Neverfull จะเป็นของหายากถึงขนาดนั้น
ที่ Champs Elysées มี shop ใหญ่ของ LV ที่นี่คนเยอะเพราะเป็นย่านนักท่องเที่ยว (ช่วงบ่ายเห็นคนเข้าแถวรอหน้าร้านกันยาวเชียว) ก็เลยไม่แปลกใจที่คนขายบอกว่าตอนนี้ที่ร้านไม่มี Neverfull MM เหลือแล้ว เค้าบอกด้วยว่าเป็นเพราะรุ่นนี้เพิ่งออกใหม่ บวกกับเพิ่งผ่านเทศกาลของขวัญมา เช็คดูแล้วยังมีอยู่ที่ Galeries Lafayette แต่ ‘it could be finished at any minute (shrug)!' และที่นั่นไม่รับจองเพราะนักท่องเที่ยวเยอะ..OK
กระเป๋านี้คงขายดีจริงๆ เพราะพอไปถึง Lafayette เข้าจริงเย็นนั้นก็ปรากฏว่าหมดแล้ว เราเริ่มคิดว่าไม่เอาแล้วก็ได้วะ แต่พี่คนขายที่ Lafayette ก็อุตส่าห์สืบให้ว่ายังมีอีก 2-3 ใบเหลืออยู่ที่ shop ตรง Saint Germain เพราะแถวนั้นไม่ค่อยมีนักท่องเที่ยว วาดแผนที่ให้เสร็จสรรพ และบอกว่าตรงนั้นมีโบสถ์เก่าสวยมากๆ ไปเที่ยวอย่างเดียวก็ยังได้
ผ่านไป 2 วันเราก็ลองไปจริงๆ ที่นั่นร้านไม่ใหญ่ก็จริง แต่กระเป๋าก็ยังหมดอยู่ดี เราบอกเลยว่าไม่เอาแล้วก็ได้ล่ะ สงสัยว่า Neverfull คงได้หมดไปจากปารีสแล้ว เหนื่อยจิง...แต่สงสัยว่าพี่ดิวนึกว่าตัวเองกำลังเล่นเกมล่าสมบัติอยู่ เลยยังไม่ยอมให้น้อง drop ประเด็นนี้ลงง่ายๆ
วันต่อมาพี่ดิวเลยชวนไปซื้อของแถว Avenue Montaigne เพราะพี่ดิวจำได้ว่ามี LV shop เล็กๆ ด้วย ไปถามก็ได้..แล้วก็หมดอีกตามคาด..แต่ว่าๆๆๆ.......พนักงานเช็คให้ว่าในปารีสมีเหลือ 2 ใบ อยู่ที่ Bon Marché ที่นี่ร้านเล็กและรับจอง ใบนึงมีคนจองไว้แล้ว เค้าจะโทรไปจองอีกใบให้...Oui!! ของพร้อม ไปรับได้เลย อู๊ย แทบกระโดดกอดคอคนขาย (oh! i'm so happy!)
ดังนั้น....Neverfull แสนน่ารักที่เห็นในเว็บใบนั้น ก็เลยได้มาเป็นของเราแล้วในวันนี้!!!
ปฏิบัติการตามล่าหา Neverfull MM ทำให้รู้ว่าใครอยากได้ของที่ขาดตลาดควรต้องไปเริ่มหาที่ shop เล็กๆก่อน ไปที่คน local เค้าไปกัน
สรุปว่าปารีสมี LV ทั้งหมด 5 ร้าน อยู่ตรงไหนรู้โหม๊ด...รู้ดีเพราะไปมาซะครบเลย

Winter Diary
กลับมาอีกแล้วเป็นรอบที่สาม นี่ถ้าไม่ติดว่าที่ทำงานไม่มีพักร้อนให้ คงจะมาตอนอื่นไม่ใช่หน้าหนาวอย่างงี้ แต่ถึงมาตอนนี้ก็ดีเหมือนกัน จะได้ไปฉลองคริสต์มาสในโบสถ์ + ดูพลุปีใหม่ จิบไวน์ร้อนข้างถนนที่ christmas market ฯลฯ
ใครๆก็บอกว่าเราเหมือนรับจ้างมาเที่ยว 555 well, my very very special thanks go to all my sponsors without whom this trip would not be possible :D
แต่ดาวก็ทำตัวเป็นประโยชน์ หอบข้าวของมาให้พี่ดิวเพียบนะ

มาถึงที่เวียนนาเมื่อเช้านี้หลังจากนั่งบนเครื่องมาประมาณ10ชม ตอนเครื่องจะลงมองลงมาเห็นหิมะขาวโพลนเลย ถึงในเมืองไม่มีหิมะแต่ก็หนาวมากติดลบ2-4องศา หนาวแบบรับไม่ได้ คนยิ่งเพิ่งมาจากที่ร้อนๆ เลยหนาวแบบปวดร้าวถึงกระโหลกด้านใน เดินไปสามก้าวก็ต้องขอเลี้ยวเข้าร้านกาแฟหาอะไรร้อนๆทาน ในร้าน oberlaa คนแน่นมาก
และวันนี้อุตส่าห์รีบไปจองตั๋วที่โรงโอเปร่าเพราะคิดว่าน่าจะต้องมีบัลเล่ต์ nutcraker แน่ๆ ซึ่งก็มีจริงๆ (der nussknacker) แต่ว่าตั๋วเต็มหมดแล้ว กระทั่งตั๋วผีของ mr. mozart man ก็ไม่มี เลยปีหน้าอยากจะกลับมาใหม่เดือนธันวาเพื่อดู nutcracker ที่ staatsoper โดยเฉพาะ
วันนี้เหนื่อยมากถึงขนาดหมดแรงใจที่จะช็อป
เฮ้อง่วงจัง..ง่วงแบบเข้าใจหมีที่จำศีลเลย

เสาร์นี้เป็นเสาร์ที่ตื่นเช้าที่สุดในรอบปี เพราะตื่นขึ้นมาเองตั้งแต่ตีห้า เลยactiveเป็นพิเศษ น้องมุกกับพู่ก็ตื่นเช้าเหมือนกันเพราะวันนี้น้องจะไปทัวร์ salzburg กัน เช้าเย็นกลับ
ดาวกับพี่ดิวจัดแจงแต่งตัวไปกินข้าวเช้าที่ cafe schwarzenberg ตรงข้ามกับ hofburg เช้าๆแบบนี้ปลอดโปร่งมาก จากนั้นก็ไปจ่ายตลาดที่ supermarket แล้วก็ไปเดินเล่นที่ naschmarkt สนุกมากและหนาวมากด้วย หนาวเพราะพื้นตลาดเป็นหินแล้วมันเย็นมากจนเข้ามาถึงในบู๊ทของเราได้ น่ากลัวมาก
naschmarkt อยู่ตรง kettenbrückengasse ขึ้นจากรถใต้ดินก็ถึงเลย(เหมือนกับจตุจักร) เราก็ช็อปกันแบบตาดีได้ตาร้ายเสียตาม concept ของ flea market แล้วก็ต้องสู้ตายเจรจาภาษาเยอรมันกระท่อนกระแท่น เพราะคนขายที่นี่เค้าไม่ค่อยยอมพูดภาษาอังกฤษ ให้ฟังน่ะก็ยังพอได้แต่มันนึกคำพูดไม่ค่อยออก ทำเราเสียทักษะในการต่อหมด คราวนี้เราได้กระเป๋า vintage หนังงูมาสองใบ สีดำกับน้ำตาล สภาพมันถลอกๆเล็กน้อยแต่มันโดนใจ
ช่วงบ่ายก็ไปเดินเล่นในเมือง แค่สี่โมงแต่มืดอย่างกะสี่ทุ่ม ทำไรไม่ถูกเลย ทำไมมืดเร็วจังจ๊ะ..เวียนนาจ๋า

วันอาทิตย์ที่นี่ร้านปิดหมด วันนี้พี่ดิวเลยชวนออกไป'เสพงานศิลป์'ที่ Albertina อยู่ใกล้ๆโรงโอเปร่าเอง ช่วงนี้มี collection ชื่อ Monet bis Picasso รวมงานตั้งแต่ French impressionism, German Expressionism ไปจน Russian avant-garde มีภาพเช่นของ Renoir, Nolde, Kokoschka, Malevich.....สวยถ้าตาถึง...

Frohe Weihnachten-Merry Christmas!
Today I got to make my little charity to a hungry 10-year-old pony on the street at Neubaugasse. These animals are starving in winter. I wished the pony owner luck and he said ‘Merry Christmas’…which reminded me that today is Christmas…
It’s Christmas, and we have a good company, we are in a city with so many beautiful churches, the streets are fully-decorated for the occasions, enough said…we must set off to church immediately!
Around 6 pm we were already sitting (and also singing along a bit) at a Christmas Mass at St. Stephan, the oldest cathedral here. It was freezing outside with light fluffs of snow but was very warm inside the church with those candles and all. It’s a good feeling being among the people praying together at this ‘Heiliger Abend’… such a lovely merry Christmas!!!
Tonite we had plan for a special fondue dinner. P’ Dew was the party organizer, I the chef, Muk the sous chef, and Chompoo the waitress.
Here’s what on the menu:
rocket salad with truffle olive oil,
garlic bread,
beef with parsley and garlic,
lamb with rosemary and marjoram,
tiger shrimps with lemon zest and sesame oil
mateus rosé (house wine, and actually the only wine we've got madam!)
butter cake (p Dew’s Christmas present from the office)
...must admit I was so very proud of this meal!

เมื่อวานนี้ทั้งเมืองปิดทำการเกือบสนิทเลย เราก็เลยอยู่บ้านจัดกระเป๋าเตรียมไปปารีสและพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ นั่งกินนอนกินkardinalschnitte himbeere จาก aida หน้าบ้านสบายใจ
มาวันนี้จะปล่อยชีวิตไร้แก่นสารก็คงไม่ดี เลยไปเดินเล่นที่ Museum of Fine Art ไปที่นี่แล้วนึกถึงพี่ม้อดเป็นคนแรกเพราะมีงานออกแบบhipๆเก่าๆใหม่ๆ ทั้งเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ลูกไม้ เครื่องแก้ว เซรามิก ผ้าทอ ...มีหลายอย่างที่เราปิ๊ง โถงข้างในก็สวยจนพี่ดิวเพ้อฝันอยากมาจัดงานวันชาติที่นี่ ชอบมากๆเลย โห..ทำไมไม่เคยคิดจะมาที่นี่มาก่อนนะ ไปง่ายแค่นี้เอง

เพิ่งกลับจากปารีสเมื่อคืนนี้ กว่าจะถึงบ้านก็ประมาณเที่ยงคืน มาถึงสามคนก็กินมาม่ารวมกัน4ห่อเพราะเหนื่อยโคด ทุกคนชอบปารีสมาก ปารีสคึกคัก vibrant ตลอด 24 ชม แต่ปารีสก็ทำให้พวกเรารู้สึกรักเวียนนามากขึ้นกว่าเดิม เพราะทำให้รู้สึกว่าที่นี่สะอาด สงบ ปลอดภัย สบายๆ ถึงแม้สีสันไม่สู้ปารีสแต่ที่นี่อะไรๆมันพอดีๆ
วันสิ้นปีวันนี้หิมะตกทั้งวัน แต่ไม่หนาวมากประมาณแค่ 0 องศา ตอนนี้ชักรู้สึกว่ากำลังเย็นๆดี (อื๋อ หมั่นไส้ตัวเองด้วย) ทุกอย่างปิดเกือบหมด วันนี้ก็เลยพักผ่อน เก็บกวาด กับทำอะไรอร่อยๆทาน มื้อเย็นดาวทำสลัดสองแบบ อันนึงเค็มไปหน่อยเพราะมีทั้ง anchovy + parmesan พี่ดิวบอกหวิดเกิดภาวะไตอ่อนแอ แหม..
พอค่ำๆเสียงพลุเริ่มดังทางนั้นทางนี้
คนที่นี่เค้าไม่ยักรอถึงเที่ยงคืน พอซักห้าทุ่มงี้ได้ยินจุดตลอดเวลา ร้อนถึงเราต้องรีบแต่งตัวออกจากบ้านตามออกไปดู
เราก็เดินเล่นไปตามถนนRing ที่จริงเค้าจุดพลุกันทุกจุดตรงไหนก็ได้ในเมือง เพราะฉะนั้นต้องหัน360องศาถึงจะดูครบ ในที่สุดก็ปักหลักที่ Rathaus ศาลาว่าการเพราะเป็นที่ฉลองที่มี concert+DJ และก็มีหอนาฬิกาเป็น background เหมาะที่สุดเลย พอพลุลูกใหญ่ๆทีคนก็เฮ
ประทับใจมากๆก็ตรงทีเกิดมาก็เพิ่งจะเคย countdown เป็นภาษาเยอรมัน พอได้ยินดีเจบอก Alles zusammen (ประมาณว่าeveryone together) เราก็เริ่มนับตามเค้าไปด้วยเลย ‘zehn, neun, acht . . .drei, zwei, Frohes Neues Jahr!’
Then ‘Blue Danube’ filled the air and some couples started to waltz along the music…natürlich! nowhere else...I'm definitely in Vienna!

ช่วงเช้าวันนี้ทั้งเมืองเงียบมาก ตอนบ่ายแก่ๆเราเดินไปทานขนมที่ Landtmann กัน แทบไม่มีโต๊ะว่างเลย
Back in Bangkok
สองวันสุดท้ายที่เวียนนาก็ไม่ได้ทำอะไรมากนอกจากไปซื้อของฝากต่างๆนานาเตรียมตัวกลับบ้าน กลับมาถึงวันศุกร์ตอนตี5ครึ่ง (ต๊กใจพ่อกับแม่ไปรับถึงข้างใน นึกไม่ถึง) ถึงบ้านเจ้าปั๊กลุ่ยกับมะโลดีใจมากตื่นมางับพี่ดาวใหญ่ พี่ดาวก็คิดถึงสองตัวมากที่สุดเลย แล้วซักพักก็แต่งตัวไปทำงาน ทำเนียน สบาย...สามารถทำได้ ใครๆที่รู้ก็บอกว่าช่างอึดจริงๆ
แต่ที่แท้น่ะเหนื่อยและง่วงขีดสุด โดยเฉพาะตอนกินข้าวกลางวันเกือบหลับคาชามก๋วยเตี๋ยว แล้วก็นั่งทำงานง่อยๆไปจนเย็น
ก็วันลามันเป็นของมีค่าที่ไม่มีขายนี่นา
กลับบ้านหลับเป็นตาย สามทุ่มยันเที่ยงวัน zzz
แล้วเจอกันใหม่นะเวียนนา คราวหน้าขอเป็นหน้าร้อนน๊า (นะพี่ดิว...)

เมื่อวานนี้ทั้งเมืองปิดทำการเกือบสนิทเลย เราก็เลยอยู่บ้านจัดกระเป๋าเตรียมไปปารีสและพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ นั่งกินนอนกินkardinalschnitte himbeere จาก aida หน้าบ้านสบายใจ
มาวันนี้จะปล่อยชีวิตไร้แก่นสารก็คงไม่ดี เลยไปเดินเล่นที่ Museum of Fine Art ไปที่นี่แล้วนึกถึงพี่ม้อดเป็นคนแรกเพราะมีงานออกแบบhipๆเก่าๆใหม่ๆ ทั้งเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ลูกไม้ เครื่องแก้ว เซรามิก ผ้าทอ ...มีหลายอย่างที่เราปิ๊ง โถงข้างในก็สวยจนพี่ดิวเพ้อฝันอยากมาจัดงานวันชาติที่นี่ ชอบมากๆเลย โห..ทำไมไม่เคยคิดจะมาที่นี่มาก่อนนะ ไปง่ายแค่นี้เอง

เพิ่งกลับจากปารีสเมื่อคืนนี้ กว่าจะถึงบ้านก็ประมาณเที่ยงคืน มาถึงสามคนก็กินมาม่ารวมกัน4ห่อเพราะเหนื่อยโคด ทุกคนชอบปารีสมาก ปารีสคึกคัก vibrant ตลอด 24 ชม แต่ปารีสก็ทำให้พวกเรารู้สึกรักเวียนนามากขึ้นกว่าเดิม เพราะทำให้รู้สึกว่าที่นี่สะอาด สงบ ปลอดภัย สบายๆ ถึงแม้สีสันไม่สู้ปารีสแต่ที่นี่อะไรๆมันพอดีๆ
วันสิ้นปีวันนี้หิมะตกทั้งวัน แต่ไม่หนาวมากประมาณแค่ 0 องศา ตอนนี้ชักรู้สึกว่ากำลังเย็นๆดี (อื๋อ หมั่นไส้ตัวเองด้วย) ทุกอย่างปิดเกือบหมด วันนี้ก็เลยพักผ่อน เก็บกวาด กับทำอะไรอร่อยๆทาน มื้อเย็นดาวทำสลัดสองแบบ อันนึงเค็มไปหน่อยเพราะมีทั้ง anchovy + parmesan พี่ดิวบอกหวิดเกิดภาวะไตอ่อนแอ แหม..
พอค่ำๆเสียงพลุเริ่มดังทางนั้นทางนี้ คนที่นี่เค้าไม่ยักรอถึงเที่ยงคืน พอซักห้าทุ่มงี้ได้ยินจุดตลอดเวลา ร้อนถึงเราต้องรีบแต่งตัวออกจากบ้านตามออกไปดู
เราก็เดินเล่นไปตามถนนRing ที่จริงเค้าจุดพลุกันทุกจุดตรงไหนก็ได้ในเมือง เพราะฉะนั้นต้องหัน360องศาถึงจะดูครบ ในที่สุดก็ปักหลักที่ Rathaus ศาลาว่าการเพราะเป็นที่ฉลองที่มี concert+DJ และก็มีหอนาฬิกาเป็น background เหมาะที่สุดเลย พอพลุลูกใหญ่ๆทีคนก็เฮ
ประทับใจมากๆก็ตรงทีเกิดมาก็เพิ่งจะเคย countdown เป็นภาษาเยอรมัน พอได้ยินดีเจบอก Alles zusammen (ประมาณว่าeveryone together) เราก็เริ่มนับตามเค้าไปด้วยเลย ‘zehn, neun, acht . . .drei, zwei, Frohes Neues Jahr!’
Then ‘Blue Danube’ filled the air and some couples started to waltz along the music…natürlich! nowhere else...I'm definitely in Vienna!

ช่วงเช้าวันนี้ทั้งเมืองเงียบมาก ตอนบ่ายแก่ๆเราเดินไปทานขนมที่ Landtmann กัน แทบไม่มีโต๊ะว่างเลย
Back in Bangkok
สองวันสุดท้ายที่เวียนนาก็ไม่ได้ทำอะไรมากนอกจากไปซื้อของฝากต่างๆนานาเตรียมตัวกลับบ้าน กลับมาถึงวันศุกร์ตอนตี5ครึ่ง (ต๊กใจพ่อกับแม่ไปรับถึงข้างใน นึกไม่ถึง) ถึงบ้านเจ้าปั๊กลุ่ยกับมะโลดีใจมากตื่นมางับพี่ดาวใหญ่ พี่ดาวก็คิดถึงสองตัวมากที่สุดเลย แล้วซักพักก็แต่งตัวไปทำงาน ทำเนียน สบาย...สามารถทำได้ ใครๆที่รู้ก็บอกว่าช่างอึดจริงๆ
แต่ที่แท้น่ะเหนื่อยและง่วงขีดสุด โดยเฉพาะตอนกินข้าวกลางวันเกือบหลับคาชามก๋วยเตี๋ยว แล้วก็นั่งทำงานง่อยๆไปจนเย็น
ก็วันลามันเป็นของมีค่าที่ไม่มีขายนี่นา
กลับบ้านหลับเป็นตาย สามทุ่มยันเที่ยงวัน zzz
แล้วเจอกันใหม่นะเวียนนา คราวหน้าขอเป็นหน้าร้อนน๊า (นะพี่ดิว...)

Paris
"what better place to dream than in paris..."
ช่วงปีใหม่นี้เราจะไปเยี่ยมพี่ดิวที่เวียนนาอีก เพราะปีนี้ อ้อ ตั้งแต่เปลี่ยนงานต่างหาก ยังไม่มีโอกาสไปหาพี่ดิวเลย ไปปลายเดือนธันวาอย่างงี้คิดว่าคงจะหนาวน่าดูเหมือนกันเพราะพี่ดิวบอกว่าแค่ตอนนี้ก็ใกล้ 10 องศาแล้ว ยิ่งเวียนนาเป็นเมืองที่หนาวกว่าเมืองอื่นๆในละแวกนั้นด้วย
และก็ทริปนี้เราแพลนจะไปเที่ยวปารีสกันด้วย4-5วัน เราเคยไปปารีสครั้งนึงน๊านนานมากแล้ว ใครๆว่าแสนจะโรแมนติกแต่เราก็ค่อนข้างเฉยๆ และจริงๆคนยุโรปก็ชอบบอกว่าปารีสน่ากลัว แล้วต้องมาupdateอีกที

Café: BitterSweet Memories
Coffee is such an acquired taste for a rose flavored tea lover like me. Can't help it when my sister is such a coffee connoisseur...who happens to enjoy offering everyone her brew. One cup led to another...and before I knew it, she turned me into an official coffee addict. So, one of the things I very much loved to do while in Vienna was experimenting and sort testing the coffees and sweets at local coffeehouses around town...I must be allergic to the coffee aroma wafting out through the air...because it just seems to always draw me in...
Here the people have a different way of calling their coffees: a 'Schwarzer,' a 'Brauner,' a 'Melange,' or a 'Verlängerter'...but you can always learn the basics. Also, it may be a bit intimidating to have to order cakes and tarts with names like Schokomousse-Törtchen or Marmorgugelhupf, but you actually point at them, right? Kein problem! By the way, each ‘Kaffeehaus’ in Vienna comes with a character that makes them unique. These places are some of my absolute favorites:
Café Landtmann
Café Landtmann is on Dr. Karl Lueger-Ring, right next to Burg Theater. This handsome café is one of the most famous coffeehouses recommended in many guidebooks. It’s been opened for more than 100 years, and in the old days it was a meeting place for the Viennese intelligentsia, like politicians and journalists. Guidebooks have it that Sigmund Freud was also a regular here. (BTW, there is a Sigmund Freud Park close by.)Here everything looks masculine and elegant. Plus, everything comes in an extra big servings…If I had to compare this café to a man, I would say that he is a ‘gentleman in his late 70’s.’
This one is only 5 minutes away from my sister’s apartment, so a few hours of walking always gave me an excuse for a time-out here before I once again head back home.
Café Central
Café Central is located at Herrengasse not so far away from Hofburg. This place also has a history that began over 100 years ago, and as a result, it is widely marked in guidebooks and that’s perhaps why it's always so crowded at any time of any day.
However, I would say that it really is one of the best cafés in town not just because of its history, the waiters, the coffee, and food, but mainly because of the atmosphere. There’s a grand piano in the middle where a pianist serenades the whole place with beautiful classical or jazz music. All in all, I like the place because it makes me feel like I’m chillin’ over nice food and coffee in the middle of a lovely mini concert.
Aida Café Konditorei
Aida is a chain café with a somewhat retro concept (maybe back to around the 60’s). And it is soooo cute because everything is in pink…from the exterior to interior design, the cups to coffee boxs to the waitress uniform…basically everything. There’s nothing I tried at Aida that I wouldn’t rate vvvvv delicious but the Tiramisu here is out of this world….it’s that kind of ‘lift me up’ tiramisu! Believe me, it's divine!!!
We are lucky to have Aida on the block and so I usually stopped there for a late breakfast…it’s interesting that there are usually a lot of the seniors here…it’s just lovely, this place.
Demel
Demel is certainly the finest and perhaps one of the oldest confectionary in Vienna. So much so that the sweets here were once served to the royal court, including Empress Sissi. My expectations were heightened because of all this info, but I was not at all let down because the cakes were soooo delicious that we had to get a second order.The price here is a bit higher than average but it’s worth every Euro. On the first floor there’s a gift shop where you can buy the sweets back home. Demel is located just a few steps away from Hofburg.
Of Operas and Ballets
Yes!...Vienna is another city with such a classic ambience that puts me in the mood for cultural outings...and one of those includes a trip to 'Wiener Staatsoper,' the legendary Opera House, the heart and soul of the City, right on the touristy Ring Straße...You can't miss it!
And if you are there for only a few days, it's not impossible to get a ticket for an evening of a world-class performance. Here's how...Actually, first off it's a good idea to take a guided tour of the Opera House just because those little details you learn from the guide will spice up your experience a whole lot more...and it costs roughly 6-7 Euros. The brief (and perhaps ermm...broken:P) history is that the place was built around the time of Mozart mainly for court entertainment. Then during WWII, the original building was majorly destroyed because of the bombs. Miraculously, the gilded stairways and the lavishly decorated Emperor's parlor were spared. It was reconstructed once the War ended, but was far from the extravagance of the bygone days because, as the handsome guide explained to us, most of the people were on street starving at the time and it just didn't make sense to invest too much of the tight budget on just one building.
Now, to get a ticket, just look for the monthly program (at places like restaurants, museums, the underground, or the Opera House itself), and make your mind up on the performance. Prices depend on the seating, which could be as high as around 200 Euros. But if you are a regular tourist like me who don't want to pay that much, you have an option of going there 1-2 hours before the performance starts and trying your luck on a standing ticket which costs only around 2 Euros...or you can go to the ticket office at the side wing of the building and talk to this very helpful ticket guy. He shows you the seating plan, marks the seats available, and quotes the varied ticket prices. I have to underline here that the tickets can be more affordable than those of many other performances in BKK. I once got a ticket for only 7 Euros for Swanlake, and 10 for Carmen...and they totally made for an unmistakably pleasant cultural evening. So, just check out and give it a try. It will definitely perfect up your trip to Vienna. Cheers! :D

อีกร้านสำหรับ bead lovers แต่ที่นี่บรรยากาศธรรมดาเหมือนร้านทั่วๆไปคือมีพนักงานกับลูกค้าเยอะๆ ยังไงก็ช่างเพราะพอเข้าไปผู้หญิงอย่างเราก็สติแตกหมดเลย เพราะร้านนี้มีของเก๋ๆมากมาย ผนังทั้งแถบด้านหนึ่งทำเป็นแผงตุ้มหูซึ่งน่ารักไปหมด ราคาประมาณ 30-80 ยูโร ถ้าใครชอบของสวยๆงามๆรับรองว่าต้องเพลิน
แล้วที่นี่ก็จะมีอุปกรณ์สารพัดสารพันสำหรับร้อยลูกปัด เช่นลูกปัดทำจากแก้ว กระดูก ไม้ พลาสติก ห่วง ลวด คลิป โซ่ โอ๊ยสารพัดแบบที่ไม่เคยเห็นขายในเมืองไทยอีกเช่นกัน
ถนน Teinfaltstraβe หาไม่ยาก อยู่เยื้องๆหลัง Café Landtmann และเป็นถนนที่จะสามารถเดินทะลุมา Am Hof ได้
ร้านAntiquitäten
เลขที่ 11 ถนน Spiegelgasse
Antiquitäten แปลว่าร้านขายของเก่า พบเห็นได้ทั่วไปหมดในเวียนนา เนื่องจากว่าขายantiqueราคาแพงจัด ร้านส่วนใหญ่ก็เลยจะล็อกประตูไว้ ถ้าอยากเข้าไปชมข้าวของสวยๆงามๆข้างในก็ต้องกดกริ่งเรียกคนขายกันก่อน ร้านที่บังเอิญได้ผ่านไปพบนี้อยู่แถวๆหลังโรงแรม Ambassador เป็นร้านเล็กๆ ถ้าไม่ตั้งใจจริงๆจะไม่สังเกตเห็น ป้ายชื่อร้านก็เก่ากึ้กเลย...เลือนลาง บางวันเปิดแต่บางวันก็ปิด แถมเจ้าของเป็นผู้หญิงอายุซัก 50-60 รวมๆแล้วเรารู้สึกว่าพอกลับออกมาข้างนอกแล้วหันกลับไปอีกทีร้านอาจจะหายไปแล้วก็ได้ (แล้วเราก็จะได้ "นี่มันทวิภพชัดๆ!")
ของในร้านส่วนใหญ่ที่เห็นเป็นเครื่องประดับ vintage ที่เป็นเพชรพลอยแท้ๆส๊วยสวย สวยม๊าก วันนั้นที่แวบเข้าไปเนื่องจากเหลือบไปเห็นแหวนโอปอลหน้าร้านเข้า เลยต้องเข้าไปขอลองใส่เหมือนต้องมนตร์
คุณป้าคนขายเค้าจำได้หมดเลยว่าของในร้านแต่ละชิ้นที่มายังไง...หรือเจ้าของยังอยู่ดีหรือ??? (เพราะเราย่อมแอบอยากรู้ก่อน) เพราะคุณป้า'บอก'ว่าไม่รับซื้อของจากคนที่ไม่รู้จักกันส่วนตัว สามารถลดราคาให้ได้ด้วย สรุปว่าร้านนี้น่ารักดี มีเสน่ห์ เราจะกลับไปอีก...

ที่ร้านนี้ขายเครื่องประดับที่เจ้าของร้านออกแบบเอง ซึ่งไม่น่าจะมีใครเหมือนอีกแล้วในโลกนี้ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นสร้อยคอกับตุ้มหูยักษ์ นอกจากนี้ก็จะมีอุปกรณ์สารพัดอย่างสำหรับนักร้อยสร้อย ทั้งลูกปัดแปลกๆ ตะขอ หมวกครอบลวด คลิป โซ่ ห่วง อุปกรณ์เหล่านี้ถ้าจะหาสวยๆในเมืองไทยนะ ฝันไปเลย

อีกร้านสำหรับ bead lovers แต่ที่นี่บรรยากาศธรรมดาเหมือนร้านทั่วๆไปคือมีพนักงานกับลูกค้าเยอะๆ ยังไงก็ช่างเพราะพอเข้าไปผู้หญิงอย่างเราก็สติแตกหมดเลย เพราะร้านนี้มีของเก๋ๆมากมาย ผนังทั้งแถบด้านหนึ่งทำเป็นแผงตุ้มหูซึ่งน่ารักไปหมด ราคาประมาณ 30-80 ยูโร ถ้าใครชอบของสวยๆงามๆรับรองว่าต้องเพลิน
แล้วที่นี่ก็จะมีอุปกรณ์สารพัดสารพันสำหรับร้อยลูกปัด เช่นลูกปัดทำจากแก้ว กระดูก ไม้ พลาสติก ห่วง ลวด คลิป โซ่ โอ๊ยสารพัดแบบที่ไม่เคยเห็นขายในเมืองไทยอีกเช่นกัน
ถนน Teinfaltstraβe หาไม่ยาก อยู่เยื้องๆหลัง Café Landtmann และเป็นถนนที่จะสามารถเดินทะลุมา Am Hof ได้

เลขที่ 11 ถนน Spiegelgasse
Antiquitäten แปลว่าร้านขายของเก่า พบเห็นได้ทั่วไปหมดในเวียนนา เนื่องจากว่าขายantiqueราคาแพงจัด ร้านส่วนใหญ่ก็เลยจะล็อกประตูไว้ ถ้าอยากเข้าไปชมข้าวของสวยๆงามๆข้างในก็ต้องกดกริ่งเรียกคนขายกันก่อน ร้านที่บังเอิญได้ผ่านไปพบนี้อยู่แถวๆหลังโรงแรม Ambassador เป็นร้านเล็กๆ ถ้าไม่ตั้งใจจริงๆจะไม่สังเกตเห็น ป้ายชื่อร้านก็เก่ากึ้กเลย...เลือนลาง บางวันเปิดแต่บางวันก็ปิด แถมเจ้าของเป็นผู้หญิงอายุซัก 50-60 รวมๆแล้วเรารู้สึกว่าพอกลับออกมาข้างนอกแล้วหันกลับไปอีกทีร้านอาจจะหายไปแล้วก็ได้ (แล้วเราก็จะได้ "นี่มันทวิภพชัดๆ!")ของในร้านส่วนใหญ่ที่เห็นเป็นเครื่องประดับ vintage ที่เป็นเพชรพลอยแท้ๆส๊วยสวย สวยม๊าก วันนั้นที่แวบเข้าไปเนื่องจากเหลือบไปเห็นแหวนโอปอลหน้าร้านเข้า เลยต้องเข้าไปขอลองใส่เหมือนต้องมนตร์
คุณป้าคนขายเค้าจำได้หมดเลยว่าของในร้านแต่ละชิ้นที่มายังไง...หรือเจ้าของยังอยู่ดีหรือ??? (เพราะเราย่อมแอบอยากรู้ก่อน) เพราะคุณป้า'บอก'ว่าไม่รับซื้อของจากคนที่ไม่รู้จักกันส่วนตัว สามารถลดราคาให้ได้ด้วย สรุปว่าร้านนี้น่ารักดี มีเสน่ห์ เราจะกลับไปอีก...
